“STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL LONG DISTANCE ULTRAS, on some of the finest national trails in the uk”

the important stuff

  • The CB100 is a challenging long distance ultra suitable for more experienced ultra runners and walkers.

Although you'd find a lot of the route is actually downhill, there is over 6000 ft of elevation on the 104 miles.

You are able to have a support runner with you after the 2nd checkpoint, just over 20 miles into the routes.

10 checkpoints along the route, serving either hot food, cold food, or snacks. There will be pie and mash at the finish for all dietary requirements.

If you are planning to run unsupported you'll need to provide proof of completion of a previous event of 50 miles or more at point of entry. Please contact us before you enter if you're unsure if your previous event qualifies, as without this we won't be able to accept your entry.

Relay team entries should have a minimum of 2 runners and a maximum of 4. You will need to arrange your own transport to changeover points along the route.

    ——————————————————————————————————————

The CB50 is a long distance ultra suitable for trail runners and walkers.

There is only 1709ft, making it an undulating but not hilly ultra - perfect if you want a true trail run without the hills!

4 checkpoints along the route, serving either hot food, cold food, or snacks. There will be pie and mash at the finish for all dietary requirements.

  • Cath & Tim first met as children in 1991, so we go back a long way!

Tim is a highly experienced ultra runner, with a huge passion for the outdoors. He works as a nurse in the NHS, loves chocolate, and hates coffee.

Cath is a marathon runner and loves being in the great outdoors. She is a professional photographer, loves chocolate, and LOVES coffee..

As runners who started off as walkers, and who are still very keen walkers, we wanted to make our event as inclusive as possible, with a cut off long enough to allow it to be walked if running isn’t your thing.

From the first to cross the line, to the final finisher, we’ll be cheering you all on - you’re all equally important to us!

We are passionate about our commitment to making all our events as environmentally friendly as possible. We have pledged to have no single-use plastics at our events, including check point snacks. We have a strong bond with Trees not Tees, and are encouraging the planting of a tree either instead of a finishers T-Shirt, or as well as.. because that's the best of both worlds!
